Proximity to the volcanic-heated natural springs and the enchanting Portneuf River makes this hotel an ideal destination for those longing for tranquility and wellness.

An Enchanting Historical Escape

The Riverside Hot Springs Inn & Spa is steeped in history. Once frequented by dignitaries like President Theodore Roosevelt and hailing from the early 20th century, it has undergone thoughtful renovations to retain its charm while providing contemporary comforts. The boutique property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, preserving its legacy as a pioneer of wellness hospitality.

With 18 individually decorated rooms, the inn exudes a cozy yet elegant aesthetic. The creaky wooden floors, coupled with polished upgrades, present a nostalgic yet comfortable ambiance. This makes every stay an unforgettable retreat into the past, further amplified by its rich stories about Prohibition-era bootlegging and miraculous healings in its natural mineral springs.

Relaxation & Rejuvenation

For couples seeking wellness, the highlight lies in its private hot spring soaking tubs. These geothermal tubs are continually infused with chemical-free, odorless mineral water, ranging between 102°F to 106°F. Quiet and secluded, these tubs offer a slice of heaven for guests seeking intimate moments of relaxation.

Complete your rejuvenation with their array of massage therapies, featuring treatments enhanced by soothing Himalayan salt stones, aromatherapy, and even dynamic cupping. The on-site staff, led by experienced therapists, ensures every spa visit is tailored to maximize relaxation.

Delectable Dining

Culinary experiences abound within the property. The Portneuf Grille & Lounge, known for its locally sourced Pacific Northwest-inspired menu, provides an inviting dining experience. Romantic outdoor seating by the river, seasonal specials, and live entertainment on select evenings make it a gem for both locals and guests.
