A Historic Romantic Retreat

Nestled against the rugged backdrop of Mount Rainier, Alexander's Lodge at Mt. Rainier is a charming and inviting choice for couples seeking a retreat into nature, history, and romance. Established in 1912, this Victorian-era lodge is located just 1.3 miles from the Nisqually entrance of Mt. Rainier National Park, positioning itself as the perfect gateway for exploring one of the Pacific Northwest's most iconic natural wonders.

Accommodations

Alexander's Lodge prides itself on its quirky, historic charm. Every room is uniquely decorated, offering couples a range of options from quaint, cozy spaces to more spacious suites. The lodge boasts full-kitchen units like the Skyline and Summit Suites, allowing guests the flexibility to prepare their own meals for an even more intimate getaway. While modern amenities are provided, like free WiFi and HD DirecTV, the overall feel is immersive and vintage, ensuring your stay is both comfortable and authentic to its century-old roots.

Scenic Grounds

Unlike other local accommodations, Alexander’s Lodge is located on historic grounds that offer a pond (where guests can feed the fish), a private walking trail, and scenic outdoor seating to soak in the natural surroundings. It's a serene, peaceful environment that encourages visitors to step away from the bustle of their daily lives to connect with each other and Mother Nature.

Whether it’s sipping wine by the pond, engaging with the friendly otter that lives nearby, or taking a stroll down the 20-minute hiking trail located directly on the property, couples will find plenty of ways to relax and unwind.

Perfect for Couples and Weddings

Alexander's Lodge has an established reputation as a couples' retreat and an ideal wedding destination, particularly for those drawn by nature’s majesty. Imagine saying your vows with Mt. Rainier as your romantic backdrop.

Proximity to Mt. Rainier

Adventure-loving couples will appreciate the lodge’s prime location, within close proximity to several of Mt. Rainier’s popular trails, such as those around the Paradise entrance.

Guests rave about the convenience of heading out early for a hike and returning to the lodge to wind down. Additionally, a simple complimentary breakfast basket is delivered to each room, allowing couples to fuel up for their day of exploration.

Historic Charm with Modern Convenience
